Decision machine
DECISION MachineThe Decision Machine Project was our first big project of the year. The purpose of this activity was to build a decision machine with four possible votes: The Principal (Mr. Watson), Parents, Students, and Teachers. In order for the vote to count, the majority of the voters (3 or more) had to vote. In the event of a tie, the Teachers' vote will count as two to break the tie.

Although the previous circuit worked properly, it was very inefficient in regards to the amount of gates used.
For this reason, I simplified the logic expression using Boolean Algebra. At first, I made many mistakes and had to start over. After a while, I had completely simplified the logic expression. |
